It’s a little cooler today. My tastes run to soups and chowders on cool days. Today I think I will turn to Browny’s Clam Chowder – Revisited. This is a recipe from Sunset Magazine. Like many of their recipes, this one has proven to be a keeper. According to Sunset’s website: “The original recipe, from a now-defunct Seattle restaurant, called for a quart of heavy whipping cream––we used milk thickened with flour.” I certainly don’t miss the extra butter fat. This is an easy and tasty chowder that everyone will love.
